Tennessee Governor Bill Lee visited schools across West Tennessee yesterday.
He visited Crockett County High School as part of his focus to strengthen schools across the state. He spoke with students, faculty and members of the school board about his interest in the school's Career and Technical Education Program.
During his visit, Lee emphasized the importance of rural communities in Tennessee.
Lee says that investment in public education is important. Students at West Chester Elementary School gave Gov. Lee a tour of their school.
