Kirsty-Rhe Janse is a communications - public relations major at the University of Tennessee at Martin. Since Janse was young, she knew she wanted to make a difference in the world.
Janse was born in South Africa and has lived her adult life in the United States. She has taken chances to travel, though. She visited Uganda last summer to get closer to her dream.
As a PR student, she's part of an independent study that allows her to work on building her non-profit organization. She hopes to create communities for less fortunate people in underdeveloped countries.
