T.J. Jefferson Wins OVC Co-Defensive Player of the Week

The OVC announced that UT Martin Senior Lineback T.J. Jefferson has been named Adidas OVC Co-Defensive Player of the Week. Jefferson wins the award for the first in his career after making 5 tackles and 2 quarterback hurries. Jefferson also recovered a fumble and returned it 44 yards for a touchdown in the 3rd quarter. The team returns to action on Saturday as they travel to take on in-state rival Tennessee Tech.
