A local church is giving back this season

Thanksgiving is just around the corner, and while some families are flocking to the stores to buy food in preparation for the holiday, others are struggling to make the holiday special.

A local Martin church, Refreshing Springs Ministries, is looking to help families in Northwest Tennessee by providing them with everything they need to make a Thanksgiving meal.

Nelson Youngblood, Pastor of Refreshing Springs Ministries, says they wanted to give back to help their community during these hard times.

"During this time of pandemic in this country, people are really hurting. And it's our job, as the church, to be their support," says Youngblood.
